This chart describes a module enabling detecting various surprising hazards due to exceptional situations, including unexpected states and events, as follows:

• A Scenario analyzer, enables the operators to generate the scenario knowledge base, used to to coordinate the modes between the functional subunit, and to update the Situation analyzer scenarios .
• A Situation analyzer, used to generate alarms in cases of inter-unit mismatch and of human-machine mismatch
alarms in cases of violation of the operational rules
• An Activity analyzer, used to alert about exceptional events received from or generated at the Functional unit.
