Unit design corresponds to all the system units, according to the unit breakdown, as follows:

The functional unit - breakdown of the machine to units and components

• The component-level add-ons are means add to the design in order to enable the operators to find out if all the critical components are operational and functional. Typical means include sensors and indicators.

The control stations :

• primary, recovery and rescue stations, are the means for the operators to interface with the machine

The supervision station enables the supervisor to activate the control station suited to the operational situation

The resilience modules ...:

rules, and alert about violation of the rules

The admin station enables system administrators to configure the resilience modules ... , to manage the primary normal modes (execution, testing, maintenance, training ...) and to manage means for learning from incidences.
