Operating under stress

If the operator operate under stress, they might be subject to the tunnel vision effect. This means that they might assume certain conditions, and disregard indications of the actual conditions.

When under threat, the situation is emergency , and the operators are liable to operate under stress.

Risk  Under stress, operators are likely to act according to their habits, which are suited to normal conditions, and not for the emergency situation ( Irony of automation).
