The activity analyzer is part of the recommended architecture, in charge of:

• Recording the system events
• Alerting in case of unexpected events.

  If the operators are not aware of the unexpected or unpredictable events, they might become aware of it only after it is too late to tackle them.

Function

  The functions of the activity analyzer include:

• Store rules defining the activity scope
• Receive scenario information (modes) generated in the Scenario analyzer
• Receive situation information (states) and activity information (events) generated in the functional unit
• Publish the activity information and make them available to all the system units
• Verify that they comply with the rules stored in the activity scope
• Notify the alarm unit in case of rule violation.
