The Scenario analyzer is used to alert about exceptional mode changes and instances of operator-machine mismatch.

Sub units

• An analyzer receives all the mode selections, identifies instances of internal mismatch and mismatch with the situation,  and reports about them to the alarm unit
• A recorder is used to record the mode changes for off-line analysis when incidence investigation is required.

Control data

The system designers may use a rule editor to define the expected scenarios and the human-machine cooperation rules, and store them in the scenario knowledge base, for analysis at run-time.

Trigger

The Scenario analyzer should track all mode changes. Each mode change should trigger an analysis session.

Input

The analyzer receives situation data from the Situation knowledge base. The situation data are used by the analyzer to decide if the scenario is expected at the effective situation.

Data analysis

The decision about the exceptional conditions is by checking the compliance with the rules stored in the scenario knowledge base.

Output

The analyzer reports to the alarm units about the exceptional scenarios.

The recording by the recorder are used by the incidence analyzer for investigation.
