Definition

A mode transition is the effect of an event on the mode.

Conditional mode transitions

Consistent transition

A transition is consistent if the effect of the event does not depend on the situation or the context .

Simple Transition

A mode transition is simple if it is not consistent, and it depends on the mode of the same state set only.

Normative transition

A simple transition is normative if it the mode dependency describes normative activity.
