Supervisor station unit specification

The Supervisor station has two main tasks:

• Scenario setting and
• Activating the functional stations (those that control the functional unit) according to the situation .

Functions

• Managing the interaction during the hazard identification, and
• Managing the interaction when performing the top-level tasks
• Managing the activation of the three other stations.

Control

This station is operated continuously by the operators nominated as supervisors.

Input

The station receives alarm information from the alarm unit, and updates of the situation from the Scenario control.

Processing

The processing of the supervisor station supports hazard management, as follows:

• Scenario setting: The supervisor station enables the operators to set the primary scenario according to their tasks.
• Activating the control stations: The supervisor station enables the operators to switch between the control stations according to the operational situation (primary, exceptional, emergency).

Output

The supervisor station presents the alarm and situation information to the operators, and switches between the control stations according to the operator's command.
