Gates guidelines

Station gates prevent deviations from operational procedures, by delaying and preventing the execution of erroneous actions, as follows:

Potential deviations from the rules are detected prior to their execution, by checking the action compliance. Instead of direct execution, the station is notified about the deviation from the rules, enabling the operators to regret.
If a command complies with the operational rules, it is transmitted to the functional unit right away.
Otherwise, if the command does not comply with the operational rules, then its execution is suspended.
When a potential deviation is detected, the gate notifies the corresponding station about it, enabling the operator to double check and then either confirm that the action is indeed as intended, or to cancel it otherwise.
Only after the operators confirm that the action is according to their intention, it is executed.
