Expected states

Expected states define the design scope. These states include routine states and exceptional states.

Routine states

Routine states are those intended for normal operation. Typically, these are the operational states involved in the procedures of production, maintenance, training, testing, etc.

Exceptional state

Exceptional states are expected states, subsequent to disturbance. They are involved in procedures used for recovery from the disturbances. They describe the exceptional situations.
