Functions

The Scenario analyzer is in charge of keeping track of the modes and of informing the other units of the exception detector about changing the effective scenario. The scenario control functions are:

• Receives commands from the operators, for setting the operational mode
• Rebounds commands that do not comply with the scenario knowledge base
• Tracks the modes and their changes, according to the scenario knowledge base
• Publish the effective scenario to the Situation analyzer and the activity analyzer, to enable testing compliance with the rules
• Publish the effective scenario to the stations, to communicate the operators about scenario changes
• Enables the system units and the operators to access the modes when they need them
• Notifies the system units and operators about mode changes
• Notifies the alarm unit about deviations from the rules stored in the scenario knowledge base
