Recording the system activity

To learn from incidences, we need to investigate the events and situations preceding the incidence. Because we cannot anticipate the time of the incidence, we need to record the activity continuously.

Methods

• Flight recorders (black boxes) are used from long ago as a standard means to provide the data required for investigating aircraft accidents ( Wiki ).
• Event data recorders (EDR) are used in the automobile industry to record information related to vehicle crashes or accidents ( Wiki )

  Recording and playback of the system activity in the Situation analyzer and the circumstance of an incidence.
