Processing

Besides the functional processing, the functional unit does the following resilience-oriented processing as follows:

1. Responding to changes in the Scenario control
2. Preventing hazards originated in the functional unit
3. Recovering from a hazard generated in the functional unit
4. Constraining to the design scope.

Output

Beside functional output to external systems, the functional unit also acknowledges

• Changes in the situation are sent to the Situation analyzer
• Events (including of faults received from the sensors) and sensor measurements are sent to the
