- Control feature is a feature significant to the
operator, who is concerned about controlling the system.
Definition
A resilience feature is a feature included in the
system design, intended
to support its
resilience.
Typical resilience features:
Fault prevention
Fault detection
- A special unit,
rules applying to the
functional unit
- Sensors are required to capture extreme values of operational
parameters, such as temperature
- Special alarms and
fault indicators are required to notify the
operators about
exceptional situations
- Special algorithms and simulators are required for early fault recognition.
