Advance exception detection

 It is a special implementation of the Usability Problem Indicator (UPI) used to identify instances of negative user experience ( reference ...). A problem is defined here as an instance of operating outside of the normal scope.

When implementing the recommended architecture ..., the deviations from the expected range of values are detected by Resilience modules ... as follows:

• The scenario analyzer verifies that scenario changes comply with the rules defined in the scenario knowledge base
• The situation analyzer verifies that the situation of the functional unit matches the effective scenario and comply with the rules defined in the situation knowledge base
• The activity analyzer verifies that an event generated by the functional unit complies with the expectations, as defined in the rules in the activity knowledge base..
• The control gates monitor the activity in the control stations, to prevent undesired commands to the functional unit.
