Input

The unit is activated by:

• Administrator  commands
• Messages sent from the functional unit
• Control messages from the gates

Processing

• The unit can configure the participants, by routing to alternative unit. For example, it can connect to a simulator instead of the functional unit.
• The unit can modify the input according to rules set by the administrator, before forwarding it to the recipients.

Output

• Input received from the functional unit can be modified before the output is sent to the Situation analyzer and the activity analyzer
• Input received from the gates can be modified before forwarding it to the functional unit or the alarm unit
