The administration station is an interface between the functional unit and the resilience add-ons. It enables modular testing, training and maintenance activities.

The unit enables the administrator to adjust the operational protocols and thresholds to the changing needs, and to set the system for testing exceptional situations. 

 Version control

The admin unit can switch between design alternatives. This feature is useful in testing for deciding about component failure.

Simulation

The admin unit can switch between any of the add-ons and a simulated version of it, in case that the real add-on is not available.
