Design for anti-fragility

 These changes should be managed in a controlled, iterative procedure, as in the chart. The chart depicts the iterative procedure of system development based on learning from incidences.

• Each development cycle begins with a definition of the operational rules.
• An initial prototype, implementing these rules, is installed at the customers site and operation starts
• Occasionally, the operation is disrupted by an incidence.
• In the incidence analysis it is often concluded that certain operational rules should be modified.
